- My Comstar installed fine. It set itself up as com5 using interrupt 7.
- The problem I had was that the software included (Bitware) is a 16 bit
- windows 3.1 program and does not recognize com 5. I used setport and
- set the modem to Com 3, Interrupt 7 in dos and had it enter the
- command in the Autoexec.bat. The modem comes up fine now with
- configuration 002 as com 3 on interrupt 7. I did have to go into
- device manager and remove the com3 from the ports however.
